SamajSathi Terms, Community Guidelines & Child Safety Standards

Welcome to SamajSathi. These Terms, Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards apply to the SamajSathi mobile application (Package Name: in.co.samajsathi) and the website https://samajsathi.co.in.

SamajSathi is operated by Mahendra Rakhecha and provides matrimonial profile discovery and related community services.

By registering, accessing or using SamajSathi, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the platform.

1. Eligibility and Age Requirement

SamajSathi is intended only for individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally eligible for marriage under applicable Indian laws.

Profiles of minors are strictly prohibited. If we discover or receive credible information that a profile belongs to a person below the legally permitted age, the profile may be suspended or permanently removed.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.

• The information submitted by you is true and accurate.

• You are legally competent to use a matrimonial service.

• You are creating the profile for a genuine matrimonial purpose.

• If you create a profile for a family member, you have their permission to do so.

2. Account and Profile Responsibility

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details and for all activities performed through their accounts.

Users must provide accurate and current profile information. False identity, misleading marital status, impersonation, fraudulent photographs, fake qualifications or incorrect personal information are prohibited.

SamajSathi may request additional information or verification when required. Verification by SamajSathi does not replace the user’s responsibility to independently verify another member.

3. Matrimonial Purpose Only

SamajSathi may only be used for genuine matrimonial and community-related purposes.

Users must not use SamajSathi for:

• Dating, casual relationships or commercial companionship.

• Harassment, stalking, intimidation or abusive communication.

• Soliciting money, investment or financial assistance.

• Advertising unrelated products or services.

• Fraud, impersonation or identity theft.

• Promoting illegal or harmful activities.

• Collecting or misusing another user’s personal information.

• Sending spam, misleading links or malicious software.

4. User Content and Conduct

Users are responsible for the photographs, profile details, messages and other information they upload or share.

Users must not publish, upload, request, transmit or distribute content that:

• Is false, defamatory, threatening, abusive or discriminatory.

• Contains nudity, pornography or sexually explicit material.

• Promotes violence, self-harm, exploitation or illegal activity.

• Violates another person’s privacy, copyright or legal rights.

• Contains someone’s personal information without authorization.

• Exploits, abuses or endangers a child.

• Violates applicable laws or these community guidelines.

SamajSathi may review, restrict or remove content that violates these standards.

5. Child Safety Standards

SamajSathi has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Users must not create, upload, publish, store, request, promote, share or distribute any content involving the sexual abuse, exploitation or endangerment of a child.

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Creating or operating a matrimonial profile for a minor.

• Grooming, soliciting or attempting sexual communication with a minor.

• Sharing or requesting sexual content involving a child.

• Promoting, facilitating or encouraging child exploitation or trafficking.

• Using SamajSathi to contact, threaten, manipulate or endanger a child.

• Sharing links or directing users to content containing CSAM.

Any account suspected of involvement in CSAE or CSAM may be immediately suspended or permanently terminated.

SamajSathi may preserve relevant account information and report suspected child exploitation or illegal content to appropriate law-enforcement or child-safety authorities, as required by applicable laws.

6. Reporting Profiles, Content and Child-Safety Concerns

Users should report suspicious, abusive, fraudulent or inappropriate profiles and communications through the reporting or support options available in SamajSathi.

When reporting an issue, please provide the relevant profile ID, screenshots and a description of the concern. Do not download, copy or redistribute illegal child sexual abuse material.

SamajSathi will review genuine child-safety complaints as quickly as reasonably possible and take appropriate action.

7. Moderation and Enforcement

SamajSathi reserves the right to investigate reported accounts, profiles, photographs and other content.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of a violation, we may:

• Issue a warning.

• Remove photographs, messages or profile information.

• Restrict account features.

• Temporarily suspend an account.

• Permanently terminate an account.

• Preserve relevant records.

• Cooperate with competent legal authorities.

• Report suspected unlawful activity when required by law.

Users may contact us if they believe enforcement action was taken incorrectly.

8. User Verification and Matrimonial Decisions

SamajSathi provides a platform for users and families to discover matrimonial profiles. SamajSathi does not guarantee the identity, character, family background, employment, income, education, health, marital status or authenticity of any member.

Before proceeding with engagement, marriage, financial dealings or an in-person meeting, users and their families should independently verify all relevant information and documents.

Users should exercise caution and should not transfer money or disclose banking credentials, passwords, OTPs or other sensitive information to another member.

All matrimonial decisions and interactions are made independently by users and their families.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information is handled according to the SamajSathi Privacy Policy.

Users must respect the privacy of other members and must not copy, publish, sell or misuse profile information, contact details or photographs.

Information obtained through SamajSathi may only be used for legitimate matrimonial communication.

10. Communications

By registering with SamajSathi, users may receive service-related communications through email, SMS, phone calls, WhatsApp or app notifications.

These communications may include account alerts, profile updates, membership information, security notifications and important policy changes.

Users may manage optional promotional communications where such controls are available.

11. Membership and Payments

Certain SamajSathi services may be free, while some features may require payment.

Before making a payment, users should review the applicable membership details, price, validity and available features.

Fees already used for an activated membership or digital service may not be refundable except where required under applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable refund policy.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

Users may stop using SamajSathi at any time and may request account deletion through the available support channel.

SamajSathi may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these terms or community guidelines.

• Contain false, fraudulent or misleading information.

• Engage in harassment, abuse or unlawful conduct.

• Present a risk to users, children or platform security.

• Misuse another person’s personal information.

• Are created for purposes unrelated to matrimony.

Serious violations may result in immediate termination without prior notice.

13. Intellectual Property

The SamajSathi name, logo, website design, application design and platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Users must not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit SamajSathi branding or platform content without written permission.

Users retain responsibility for content they upload and confirm that they have the right to use and share that content.

14. Platform Availability

We aim to keep SamajSathi secure and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, security requirements, network failure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Features and services may be updated, changed or discontinued when reasonably necessary.

15. Limitation of Responsibility

SamajSathi acts as an intermediary platform and does not arrange, guarantee or approve any marriage or personal relationship.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SamajSathi is not responsible for personal decisions, offline meetings, financial transactions or disputes between users.

Nothing in these terms excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

16. Compliance with Laws

Users must comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations while using SamajSathi.

SamajSathi complies with applicable child-safety requirements and will cooperate with valid legal requests received from competent authorities.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms, community guidelines or child-safety standards to reflect legal, regulatory, safety or service-related changes.

The updated version and its effective date will be published on this page. Continued use of SamajSathi after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable consumer-protection and other mandatory legal provisions, disputes relating to SamajSathi will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
